About the shop

As a teenager Bill was trained in Athens as a Tailor. Bill Koziaris migrated to Australia and worked for a couple of local tailors before venturing on his own in 1981 - starting North Altona Tailors & Alterations.

The husband and wife team worked tirelessly servicing the needs of the local area - services included Tailored suits - alterations, mending & menswear.

In 2015 the store has had a refurbishment and name change to Rafti (meaning Tailor in greek)

Rafti offers the same quality tailoring and alterations services plus adding a new range of quality clothing.

Bill Koziaris continues to work in the store on a part-time basis in between trips back to family in Greece passing on valuable knowledge to our tailors and seamstresses . His sons help with the management administration.
